So I had a good time yesterday, relaxing and stuff. I hope you all had a great day too. It's been chilly here the past couple days, but i'll take it over extreme mosquito humid heat!! I've made a little garden, had my first party outside ufc thingy of the year.... alls good.

Okay so that leaves you..... thinking back to when you were younger/littler what is your best summer moment that you can rememer? Here's mine:

Going to the pool with my sister as soon as it opened to be the first ones to jump in the clear untouched pool! Then staying there all day watching the "older" kids (probably grade 8 or 9) taking turns jumping off the diving board doing crazy tricks. Then we'd go to the corner store and buy candy with whatever money we found in the locker room and get candy, mexican chili chips and tahiti treat drinks. We'd stay there as long as we could before dying of hunger. We would walk home cold, stop in the middle of the road. Lie down on the hot cement to warm up for a couple minutes or until a car came. All the way home. Then we'd eat and run back to finish swimming to be the last ones out of the pool. By the way, the pool opened at 12 noon until 8pm at night when the horn would blow for everyone to leave. Those were good times.

Ahhh yes Tahitti treat drinks, mexican chili chips, and those eye ball gums with the powder in them...I remember that only too well, and How badly I wanted to swim in the deep end, and how long I worked at being able to do the laps so I could. I remember warming up in the shower when it was cold but we still wouldn't go home...Or stayin in the water till our lips were blue....those little pull out locker drawers...finding the best spot by the fence...and all we would bring is our towels, by the end of the day they would be just soaked and they were completely useless for drying us...lol....
    those were the days....

You know what..I have a story identical to yours! My sister and I lived in Moray Village and there were 3 different pools to choose from. Aimee and I would go, like you two, from dawn 'til dusk. And I made friends with all the lifeguards, one in particular was sooo cute, I was 9 at the time, and he was 18, BUT man was he ever gorgeous. And I knew this at a young age! I hung out there just to drool over this beautiful human, lol. My friends and I would brush his hair for him, show off like crazy, even crimp our hair to look good! I was a total water baby and loved to be there to swim, not just for the lifeguards. There were females too, and I looked up to them, so pretty and always gave good advice! Seriously though, I was ALWAYS there and felt lost when it would close because of weather or something. Years later, I became a lifeguard at the same pools!! Only I was waaay better! HAHA...so there ya go, honestly, I think about those days all the time...definitely my favorite summer moments!
